About this Role:

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend background to join our Billing \& Expansion team — the team responsible for streamlining how users try, buy, and grow with W\&B. You'll build user\-facing experiences that help customers understand our value and manage their subscriptions with confidence.

This role is ideal for engineers who love creating delightful product experiences, thrive in cross\-functional environments, and are motivated by impact and growth.

Build end\-to\-end features that make it easier for customers to evaluate, upgrade, and manage their W\&B subscription, with a focus on UI/UX excellence and performance.

Own and evolve critical flows in pricing, licensing, and billing — including onboarding, acquisition, and activating drive expansion and revenue.

Collaborate with Product, Data, Finance, and Go\-To\-Market (GTM) teams to develop features that meet business needs, optimize pricing, and drive customer expansion.

Mentor fellow engineers, sharing best practices and advocating for long\-term architectural solutions.

Enhance data models and systems to ensure accurate, fair, and transparent billing processes.

Develop UIs and integrations for internal teams to seamlessly use billing data for better decision\-making and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

3\+ years of experience in software engineering, including strong hands\-on work in modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, TypeScript).

Experience building and shipping full\-stack features with clear product impact.

Deep empathy for users and a product mindset — you care about the "why" behind what you're building.

Proven ability to collaborate cross\-functionally, especially with Product, Data, Finance, and GTM teams, to gather requirements and deliver impactful features.

Commitment to a customer\-first mindset and an ability to balance long\-term and short\-term objectives, prioritizing what's best for the customer and the company's growth.

Experience in payment/metering systems is a plus.
