**About the Role:**
This product\\-focused Software Engineer will work on our Models team. Thousands of Machine Learning Engineers use our product daily to monitor and understand their ML training runs. To learn more about what you'll be working on, see an example workspace or try our tutorial (the collaboration notebook lets you try it out with no ML experience necessary to run) \\- we are proud of how simple the app is to get started using.
Our Models team primarily work on features that enhance and centralize the machine learning development workflow for our users. Engineers in this role will be directly working with customers and other engineering teams to build products and customer experiences that will continue to enable the acceleration of machine learning model development.
- Lead new product initiatives that help our customers (ML engineers) collaborate and share information.
- Collaborate with other developers on complex technical and performance challenges.
- Find ways to make the developers on the team more productive.
- Focus on our end users and listen to customer feedback in order to improve our product, either by working directly with customers, or with our team of customer support personnel, designers and PMs.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Multiple years in Full\\-stack engineering, building and maintaining user facing products. Experience with time series data and data visualizations is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in modern web technologies such as React, Typescript.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and knowledge of at least 1 modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, C\\+\\+, etc).
- Experience building high quality products end to end \\- technical design, implementation, testing, and launch.
- An ability to navigate ambiguity and reach a clear understanding of problems affecting our users.
- An ability to build features based on complex requirements stated in user terms, either from users directly, or from our product/customer support organizations.
- Interest in the AI/ML space, and a desire to continue to learn.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, in order to communicate with our global team and stakeholders.
The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $153,000 to $204,000 and $176,000 to $234,000, accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job\\-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
