Job Responsibilities:
You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of DevOps solutions.
You will support Financial Management \& Analysis of the system through:
Monitoring and analyzing AWS cloud spending across accounts and services
Implementing and maintaining cloud cost management tools and dashboard / alarms
Maintaining the cloud cost forecast for the fiscal year and support forecasting future cloud expenses
Monitoring ICITE Efficiency Metrics. Manage annual exception requests.
You will provide Technical Optimization of the system through:
Identifying and facilitating execution of cost-savings opportunities through resource optimization
Optimizing instance sizing, Reserved Instance purchases, and compute savings plans
Establishing and documenting cost optimization / best practices
Identifying and eliminating unused or underutilized resources
You will Provide Stakeholder Management by:
Collaboration with component architects and chief architects to design cost-efficient solutions
Interfacing with program leadership on cost optimization strategies and reporting
Act as a Liaison to AWS TAMs to facilitate AWS support to program cost optimization efforts
Coordination with SETAs relative to cloud cost and ICITE related activities, including quarterly RI purchase recommendations
You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to design, deploy, implement, modernize, and support scalable network solutions
You will support Network designs \& development related activities, optimizing for performance and scalability across multiple computing environments
You will utilize your Linux skills at the command line to deploy updates and change products for Cisco based network systems to support program needs
You will provide guidance on network resource allocation, utilization, and optimization
You must be a strong troubleshooter with experience in network issue mitigation as well as prevention
Basic Quals:
Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 3 years of related work experience
Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)
Experience with VMWare and related virtualized systems
Comp TIA Security + within 90 days after starting in the role
Current TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Quals:
Advanced Experience configuring, deploying, and supporting network systems (E.g. Cisco, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, Brocade)
Experience Troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3
Experience with Firewall Implementation and knowledge
Scripting in Python (preferred); Bash, Shell
Experience integrating with identity management, access management, and authorization solutions (PKI, LDAP).
Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g.: Scrum, SAFe).
Experience with scanning tools
Basic Experience Using Automation Frameworks
