About the Company:
Our client is a Luxury Retail conglomerate with a presence worldwide. As part of the company's expansion plan, they will be looking for an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture for the company in Singapore.
Role \& Responsibilities:
Head, design and deploy scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure across regions and manage containerized environment using Serverless Architecture through AWS ECS and EKS.
Develop standardized cloud governance and Landing Zone architectures.
Implement SRE best practices, defining SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for reliability.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates with Terraform.
Develop Python scripts using Boto4 for cloud resource managment.
Design cloud security architecture incorporating IAM, VPC, encryption, and compliance auditing.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years in AWS cloud infrastructure implementation in AWS China and AWS International.
Proven experience in Terraform, Github and Bitbucket, OpenTofu experience is a good to have.
Proficient in cloud models including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS or hybrid, business continuity and disaster recovery including hybrid/multi-cloud DR and release strategies.
Knowledge of GDPR, PCI-DSS, and data cross-border compliance.
Proficient in Chinese to speak with China and Taiwan colleagues.
Prior experience in Retail or Luxury MNCs will be highly preferred.
Experience in AWS Bedrock will be preferred.
