YOUR MISSION
We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS infrastructure to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support our software development and deployment processes. Your expertise in AWS services and best practices will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based systems. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
OUR TECH ENVIRONMENT
For the back-end, we are using: .NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Identity Server, RESTful APIs.
For the front-end, we are using: ReactJS, React Native, Electron, NodeJS, Angular 2+, a little C#, etc.
Besides that, we are also using many AWS services like EC2, S3, SQS, SES, Lambda, StepFunctions, API Gateway, Cloudfront, Route53, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Cognito, CodeArtifact, LoadBalancer, ElasticCache (Redis), inspector, KMS, MSK, OpenSearch (Elasticsearch), SNS, Storage Gateway, Transfer Family, VPC, and WAF.### HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements, architecture, and software development needs.
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS to support the development, testing, and production environments.
Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools for efficient and reliable application releases.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security; proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime and optimal performance.
Optimize and fine-tune AWS services to ensure cost-effectiveness while meeting performance and scalability requirements.
Work on infrastructure as code (IaC) projects using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues related to infrastructure.
Conduct regular security audits, implement necessary security measures, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AWS services, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
Provide support during incidents and emergencies.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS infrastructure.
Strong working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation and tooling.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices for cloud-based environments.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and network connectivity.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Basic communication in English.
