Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan’s leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia. Responsibilities:* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into actionable product features.
Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through tech solutions.
Support the platform POs and delivery of digital initiatives in consumer platforms using Agile methodologies.
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with platform POs and evolving business needs.
Write clear user stories, define acceptance criteria, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
Monitor progress of deliverables and ensure timely execution of tasks and initiatives.
Ensure adherence to relevant compliance, governance, and regulatory standards.
Experience* Minimum 3 years working experience as a Product Owner in a Financial Services/Insurance industry
Experience managing and rolling out enhancements on digital platforms (web or app)
Experience in Content Management System and martech platform is a plus (e.g. AEM)
Experience working with multiple business stakeholders
Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills, intellectually curious
Ability to work across departments in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and flexible to change
Has a solution mindset, detail oriented and willingness to learn is a must
Education* Academic: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business or Digital/Tech related field
Agile knowledge or certifications
Worked with Project Management tools (e.g. Figma/Confluence/JIRA)
