We are looking for a creative and skilled UI Engineer to design high-quality digital experiences that balance functionality with modern, user-focused aesthetics. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and designers to ensure the website and digital products are optimized across devices, accessible, and visually compelling.
Responsibilities
Work alongside our Lead Developer.
Develop and expand features and products using a variety of programming languages.
Provide advanced-level software programming for technical projects.
Contribute to the creation of front-end components for critical technology areas of our high-traffic, consumer-facing products.
Join a cross-functional software development team on highly visible strategic projects and work as an expert-level individual contributor to assigned coding tasks.
Responsible for developing a new, highly responsive, web-based user interface in a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture.
Work within an Agile environment to deliver solutions.
Produce well-designed, testable, and efficient code within given timelines.
Interact closely with business teams and designers to refine requirements and ensure technical needs are met.
Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends to apply improvements to development processes.
Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress.
Debug, test, and fix UI-related issues.
Document code development and revisions.
Requirements
Minimum 4+ years of UI development experience (preferred).
Deep understanding of client-side development and hand-coding in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
Strong experience using a client-side MV* framework such as ReactJS.
Top-notch programming skills and ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
Experience in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and website performance.
Knowledge of front-end CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Material UI.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Working knowledge of using the latest development tools and techniques.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
