Our goal is to connect the worldâs health data and as a Staff Engineer you will work on the architecture and design level solutioning of our product while also driving implementation and helping to mentor other team members. What You Need To Succeed
6+ years of experience developing and delivering production-grade software and data systems.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala â comfortable writing robust, testable, and scalable code.
Deep experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, EMR, Step Functions, S3, IAM, etc.).
Strong knowledge of distributed systems and streaming/data pipelines (Kafka, Spark, Delta, Airflow, etc.).
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
Understanding of SRE fundamentals â monitoring, alerting, on-call readiness, resilience testing, and incident management.
Hands-on experience with Databricks, MLflow, or similar ML/ETL platforms is a plus.
Bonus: Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.

What You Will Do
Design and implement end-to-end systems that power our ML and Data Platforms â from ingestion to model deployment to monitoring.
Own, operate, and optimize platform components across Databricks, AWS, and Kubernetes, ensuring reliability, observability, and security.
Build scalable data flows and high-performance compute pipelines using Spark, Delta, and modern data lakehouse patterns.
Develop automation and tooling for CI/CD, model deployment, data quality checks, and environment management.
Collaborate across teams â partner with Data Science, Product Engineering, and DevOps to design reusable platform components.
Lead by example â mentor engineers, drive code reviews, and establish best practices for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Contribute to innovation by exploring new technologies, driving proof-of-concepts, and improving developer productivity across ML and data workflows.
