What will you do?
Supporting business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed
Monitoring data performance and modifying infrastructure as required.
Collect and process raw data at scale for various projects and initiatives.
Build and maintain systems for storing and processing large-scale data.
Develop scalable and reliable ETL pipelines to ingest and process diverse data types (structured, semi-structured, traffic, etc.) from multiple sources.
Work with the engineering team to integrate data pipelines into production systems.
Monitor data infrastructure performance and apply improvements as needed.
Your skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Hands-on experience with object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Python).
Basic knowledge of big data tools and frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Nifi, Airflow, DBT, etc.
Strong skills in data modeling and SQL optimization for efficient data processing and querying.
Excellence with various OLTP and OLAP databases and data warehouses: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, DuckDB, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data and software issues.
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Metabase, Looker Studio, etc.
Familiarity with Data Quality Platform is a big plus.
Good English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Familiarity with monitoring and optimizing data systems for performance is a plus.
