Our New Zealand SAP consulting team work with organisations of all sizes and across all industries, aiming to help clients transform their businesses by improving business operations with the use of modern cloud technologies, across their organisations.
Now we are in search of a talented SAP Support Delivery Manager to join our growing Technology Consulting Practice. The role goes a step beyond the traditional consulting constructs and requires a strong set of client-facing skills along with a good understanding of SAP functionality and capabilities to solve both simple and complex post go-live operate problems, by advising our clients on the best approach for their business following industry best practices.
Job Description
The impact youâll make:
Managing a pipeline of project priorities, enhancements requirements, and support tickets across various clients and collaborating with various Deloitteâs Technology Consulting communities to resolve these.
Providing creative solutions for your clients as a trusted advisor and integrating these solutions across work streams. Leading the SAP delivery team to meet clientsâ requirements under their existing operate contracts, many of which follow a modern agile delivery model.
Helping to develop high performing people and a culture aligned to Deloitteâs values to âmake an impact that mattersâ resulting in the delivery of exceptional client service.
Building relationships with Deloitte colleagues and client users, SMEâs and upwards to CIO and CFO level to manage the relationship, related commercials and ensure we are proposing solutions that meet their requirements.
Continuously cultivating client relationships, including active involvement with presales and procurement processes.
Provide an understanding of SAP solutions and the delivery of SAP support to clients to manage and support the team effectively.
Oversee resolution of major incidents and problems, ensuring timely communication and escalation working with 3rd parties like SAP where required to support resolution of any product issues.
Manage budgets related to service delivery and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Owning the end-to-end SDLC, including testing and supporting post production deployment issues and hyper care.
Work to balance available resourcing across the resolution of defects and delivery of new solution enhancements based on a prioritisation that has been agreed with the client aligned to an agile delivery approach.
Qualifications
Your expertise:
You are driven, self-motivated and pride yourself on providing the same high-quality service that is expected and delivered from one of New Zealandâs largest and most respected professional services firms. Fluent English language skills (written and spoken) and stakeholder management skills are a must. An ability to work independently and collaboratively with our clients and the wider technical and functional teams who will deliver the operate services is very important. This should be combined with strong organisational skills and a solid problem-solving ability which will be essential to your success in this position.
Technically you will need to have an established foundation of professional consulting experience and skills such as a;
Very good understanding of the functional and/or technical capabilities of SAP, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BTP and more. Good knowledge of SAP cloud platform services and how these manage and broker specific integrations, API management and cloud security.
Demonstrable understanding of SAP end to end processes across the core SAP ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Manufacturing modules.
