Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Sr. Software Development Engineers in Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the design and build software features according to user requirements and functional specifications.
Identify major development risks and action plans.
Research existing software components and technical feasibility.
Estimate time and work effort to build and unit-test each feature.
Build proof of-concept prototypes.
Help the development team conform to established unit-testing standards, code reviews, processes, etc.
Act as a mentor to team members. Help the team overcome technical challenges.
Prepare software products for deployment and support implementation.
Design software systems/applications with a high level of complexity including multiple interfaces, services, multiple packages, and platforms).
Implement end-to- end software solutions and ensure their quality.
Telecommuting permitted up to three days per week.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in software development. In the alternative, will accept 5 years of experience in software development.
Must have work experience in:* 1 year using UI tool Angular5 and Java.
3 years using CSS and HTML.
Debugging remote applications and multithreading programs.
Debugging specific error related to runtime, compilation, and threading and using debugging techniques to optimize code.
