Responsibilities
Architect and implement AWS-based infrastructure following Well-Architected principles
Write, review, and maintain Terraform IaC modules for infrastructure provisioning
Build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins
Manage AWS-native services including EC2, ECS/Fargate, EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudFront, and CloudWatch
Design multi-account and hybrid-VPC topologies using AWS Organizations, Transit Gateways, and IAM roles
Debug and optimize IAM policies, Lambda integrations, and inter-service networking
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure with CloudWatch, Datadog, and ELK
Collaborate with developers deploying containerized Spring Boot and Node.js applications
Guide security and compliance practices (SSO/SAML, encryption, backups, tagging, etc.)
Document architecture and processes; support teams across US time zones
Qualifications
Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Location Requirement: Must be a resident of the continental United States.
6+ years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
Deep knowledge of AWS core services and architecture patterns
Strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
Proficiency in container tooling (Docker, ECS, or EKS preferred)
Solid understanding of IAM, networking (VPC, NACLs, SGs), and monitoring best practices
Experience with CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS-native tools)
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
Understanding of Java
Excellent communication skills and experience supporting distributed teams
6+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including production-grade infrastructure and core services
6+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, focusing on CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code
Required Qualifications
6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles
6+ years of production AWS experience supporting scalable, mission-critical infrastructure
Deep expertise in AWS core services and cloud architecture patterns
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform required; CloudFormation or CDK a plus)
Proficiency with container technologies (Docker; ECS or EKS preferred)
Strong understanding of IAM, VPC networking, security groups, NACLs, and monitoring best practices
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD automation pipelines
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
Working knowledge of Java and familiarity with JVM-based applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience supporting distributed or remote teams
CompensationW2 Employment: $200,000 - $300,000 annually with full benefits, including:
