About the Role

We’re seeking a

Senior

DevOps Engineer

on behalf of one of our trusted clients to support their growing development team.

In this role, you’ll treat infrastructure like a product—someone who automates everything, designs for reliability at scale, and embraces AI-assisted development to move faster without compromising quality or security. You’ll play a key role in building and evolving their next-generation AWS platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and performance-optimized.

Key Responsibilities

⚒️ Design, build, and evolve

our multi-account, multi-AZ AWS architecture (EKS/ECS Fargate, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, VPC, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, and more).

🚚 Implement progressive delivery strategies

(blue/green, canary) and automated rollbacks using tools like Argo Rollouts/Flagger.

💻 Integrate AI-assisted tools

(GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Claude Code) into CI/CD for test generation, code reviews, and incident summaries.

⚙️ Standardize Infrastructure as Code

with Terraform or AWS CDK, including reusable modules and drift detection.

🔍 Enhance observability

with OpenTelemetry and Datadog (SLOs/SLIs, APM, RUM, synthetics) and reduce alert noise.

🔒 Embed security and compliance

controls

(HIPAA/SOC2) into pipelines (SAST/DAST, SBOM, secrets scanning).

💥 Optimize costs and performance

through right-sizing, Graviton, Spot Instances, and performance testing.

👤 Lead

incident response, post-mortems, and improve runbooks with AI-generated context.

Required Qualifications

Over

8 years of experience in DevOps

positions.

Proven experience with

AWS services

(VPC, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, KMS).

Hands-on experience with

containers and orchestration

(Docker, EKS/ECS, IRSA).

Strong knowledge of

Infrastructure as Code

(Terraform or AWS CDK) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).

Experience with

observability tools

(Datadog, OpenTelemetry) and actionable alerting.

Understanding of

security and compliance

best practices (HIPAA/SOC2, SAST/DAST, IAM, KMS, secrets management).

Proficiency in

scripting or programming

(PowerShell, Bash, Python, or .NET).

Ownership mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

SRE practices (error budgets, capacity modeling), service meshes, event‑driven/serverless patterns.

Drift detection, SBOMs, and supply‑chain security.

SQL Server 2016+ experience.

AI‑assisted workflows in CI/CD or incident response.
