Job Title: Digital Product Manager – Banking
Location: Toronto, ON (3 days on-site)
Contract Duration: 06-12 months
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to join our banking client’s digital team. The ideal candidate has strong strategic and execution capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record delivering digital products within the financial services sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technology partners to define product vision, build roadmaps, and drive end-to-end delivery.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and digital strategy
Translate product vision into actionable work by writing user stories, defining requirements, and supporting backlog refinement
Partner with Product Owners to facilitate reviews, support sprint planning, and ensure clarity on priorities
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating features and ensuring high-quality delivery
Work collaboratively with designers, developers, QA, business stakeholders, and leadership teams
Present updates, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management in a clear and concise manner
Operate effectively in Agile environments, contributing to continuous improvement of delivery practices
Manage documentation, workflows, and requirements using Jira and Confluence
Ensure digital banking experiences meet compliance, business, and customer experience standards
Must-Have Qualifications
4–5 years of experience in Product Management, Digital Product roles, or similar fields
Strong experience building and maintaining product roadmaps
Demonstrated ability to work both strategically (vision/roadmap) and tactically (execution/user stories)
Hands-on experience driving delivery: writing user stories, supporting PO reviews, coordinating UAT
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
MBA or equivalent business education
Experience in digital transformation initiatives or large enterprise digital product teams
