Job Title: Python Developer
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ months (possible extension)
Overview:
Seeking a Python Developer to join the Services Technology team. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing Big Data implementations, both on-premises and in public cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize scalable Python-based applications.
Integrate systems and deploy new products and process improvements.
Drive coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
Qualifications:
8+ years in software development or data engineering with strong Python expertise.
3+ years with AWS or other public cloud platforms.
Experience with Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Big Data tools (Kafka, Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Experience in agile environments with shifting priorities.
