Job Description Summary:
Team D\&G is seeking a Junior Software Developer in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment \& Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. IGC provides a single place for access to common data, business services and information on material asset visibility and cohesive, integrated data services for the management of supply, distribution, and logistics to the combatant commands, military services, and other federal agencies. Roles \& Responsibilities:
Assists with the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Uses programming skills to create high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.
Assists with the design and development of software to meet user needs, and ensure the software is scalable and efficient.
Assists with the development and conducts software testing to ensure the software is free from bugs and meets the client's design requirement
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as web designers, product managers, and QA team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR
Bachelor’s degree (any field) + One of the certifications: A+, CND, Network +
2 years of technical experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies.

Active DoD Secret Clearance REQUIRED

Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, MVC, jQuery, C#, ASP.Net.Net/Core in Visual Studio; Computer aided software engineering tools; Scrum knowledge; Fortify; Java, JavaScript, SQL, Psql; SQL server, Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB; GIS; Cross-Platform mobile development.
Scrum Master Certified or
AWS Certified Developer.
