Laurel, MD (ON-SITE/OFFICE)Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to join our team in Laurel, MD. The Senior Full-Stack Java Developer will design and develop secure, scalable applications using Java Spring Boot and React, working as part of an Agile DevSecOps team to deliver microservice-based solutions for mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities of the Senior Full-Stack Java Developer include:
Design and implement microservice APIs using Java Spring Boot
Develop and maintain React-based UI applications
Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to complete user stories and deliver production-ready code
Perform unit testing and support acceptance, load, and performance testing
Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance
Interface with stakeholders to explain functionality and demonstrate completed features
Adhere to development standards and participate in code reviews
Qualifications for the Senior Full-Stack Java Developer include:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8+ years of software development experience (or equivalent)
Expert-level experience with Java Spring Boot and React
Hands-on experience with microservice architectures and CI/CD pipelines
Working knowledge of Postgres and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis)
Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance
Compensation for the Senior Full-Stack Java Developer includes:
Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
