Job Purpose* Manage, control and develop Container Freight Station (CFS) operational activities in accordance with group business strategy and local business environment.
Assist local management to define and execute operations strategy in relation to CFS strategy.
Responsible for the MVP (CFS Requirements) rollout within OMS AP
CFS Tender coordination and cost reductions
Key Responsibilities
Customer
Support CFS readiness and customer visits within AP
Lead and support customer visits across Top 20 CFS locations
Active engagement in business development opportunities with heavy CFS contribution \& strong CFS component
Provide solution for customer requirements and VAS in desired locations \& priority markets
Develop customer relationship with existing customers and identify retention/growth levers
Identify customers with CFS conversation opportunities and support SCE analysis and turnaround
Maintain accurate and most up to date customer facing marketing and sales material for CFS
Support conversion opportunities and turnaround through SCE and IMPAT collaboration
Internal
Support CFS readiness and customer visits within AP
Active rollout of MVP service levels across CFS in AP region
Drive implementation of MVP service levels across Top 20 CFS locations
Coordinate CFS tender participation with local teams and procurement
Manage CFS KPI's and active engagement for improvement area
Deploy \& roll out VAS capabilities across the region tied to customer demand
Support Audit selections and execution
Conduct regular audits of CFS facilities and oversee audit readiness
Actively drive profitability increase on purchased services
Work closely with regional stakeholders on best practice marketing and sales material
Execute surveys related to CFS footprint and service levels internal and external
Embed CFS growth targets into annual budget and project plans
Identify and implement GP improvement actions (e.g. VAS expansion, cost control)
Negotiate with vendors to improve service quality and margin
Deploy CFS development initiatives in alignment with IMPAT project governance
Ensure cross-functional coordination and strong local stakeholder engagement
Lead structured surveys and performance reviews of providers
Promote CFS capabilities across BD and sales teams with training and awareness sessions
Experience/Qualification Requirements
Degree or above in Logistics/Supply Chain or business related
5 years or above relevant experience in logistics industry
Knowledge of Asia Pacific freight forwarding, warehousing and logistics business practices
In-depth know-how of OMS product, policy and procedure with certain knowledge of CFS business trend in market
Customer orientation, focus on identifying customer needs, act in efficient and friendly manner
Excellent communication skill and logical and analytical mind
Good interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and problem-solving skills
Good team build management
Creative thinking, good training delivery and program development skill
Software skill, be good at Microsoft Office applications
