Job description
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be the technical backbone of our engineering team, architecting scalable solutions for millions of users. Core Development:* Transform user stories into high-performance, reliable production code and realistic prototypes.
System Architecture: Design and optimize backend systems, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks that impact the entire stack.
Engineering Excellence: Champion best software engineering practices and ensure code quality through rigorous reviews and structural improvements.
Mentorship \& Growth: Act as a technical mentor for junior members and partner with the Project Manager to conduct technical interviews.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with PMs, BAs, SAs, UX, and R\&D teams to deliver holistic software solutions.
Your skills and experience
Must Have* Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
Deep expertise in Java and Microservices architecture.
Solid command of OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
Proficiency in Relational Databases (SQL) and ORM technologies.
Experience in REST API design and implementation.
Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and version control (Git).
Familiarity with Unit Testing methodologies (TDD, BDD).
Nice to Have Understanding of Message Queues* and Authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
DevOps mindset with experience in Cloud or On-premise environments.
AI Literacy: Willingness to leverage AI tools to boost productivity and code quality.
