Job Description
Our client is the newly set up digital arm of a family office, with a long history of licensed casino operations, real estate development, property investments, restaurants and wellness businesses in Hong Kong. The digital arm aims to bring technology and creative ideas into the industry and explore new venture opportunities into this traditional culture.
They are now looking for a hands-on lead developer with solid experience in architecture design to lead the next-generation green field projects. You will lead end-to-end digital transformation projects – from brainstorm, development, deployment and execution. You can work closely with stakeholders and strategic partners, and you can definitely see the impact you are going to make; the value you are going to bring to the company.
Responsibilities:
Own the whole end-to-end SDLC
Enforce clean, scalable, maintainable system designs grounded in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles
Deliver consistently high-quality, production-grade code across the full technology stack
Establish and continuously evolve a solid, reliable data platform that powers operational excellence, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision making
Work closely with Product Management to transform business requirements and user needs into robust technical implementations
Take ownership of system reliability, performance, observability, and long-term technical health/sustainability
Drive effective adoption and mastery of AI-assisted development tools and practices throughout the engineering organization
Mentor and develop junior engineers while establishing and championing engineering excellence, standards, and best practices across the team
Requirements:
At least 6 years of experience in full stack development with React, Typescript and Nodejs
Proven ability to design and build production-grade systems from scratch
Solid understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and infrastructure fundamentals
Strong entrepreneurial mindset
Fluent in both English and Cantonese
