AWS Platform Engineer \| 90k \| Hilversum 2 days per week \| 3 days per week from home
Our client is one of the biggest media companies in the Netherlands and Europe.
They are driving their sector with news websites, video-on-demand platforms, and daily weather updates, so the technical environments are a big part and driving force of the company.
The internal platform team (7 FTE) is looking to expand. This team is responsible for delivering cloud platforms throughout the organization, both for production applications and internal development. They work as a consulting cell, collaborating with loads of development teams facilitating them with platforms and related tooling. The work is roughly 50/50 distributed between daily incidents/maintenance and automation projects. The organization is multi-cloud on AWS / Azure, with some services on GCP. Furthermore, they run K8’ platforms, use Terraform for IaC, and, what else: Gitlab, ArgoCD, Helm, Python, Grafana, Prometheus.
We are looking for a Medior or Senior engineer to join the team.
Strong personality and communication, lot of internal consultancy work for which the team can use some seniority in communication
5+ years’ experience in AWS- \& Platform Engineering.
Preferably multi-cloud, but emphasis for this hire is on AWS skills.
Automation: Terraform, Ansible, Python, Go.
