Why this role matters

Be part of a dynamic team that provides end-to-end technical expertise across the process lifecycle - from development and design to technology transfer and commercial manufacturing. In this role, you'll drive seamless collaboration between R\&D, Manufacturing, Engineering, Validation and Quality to enhance process performance robustness, efficiency, and compliance.

What you'll do

Define and implement control strategies for new and existing processes and platforms.

Leverage process understanding to reduce variability, enhancing product quality and patient safety.

Lead technology transfer, scale-up, and process optimisations to ensure robust manufacturing performance.

Partner with cross-functional teams to optimise process, equipment, and utilities performance for compliant, effective manufacturing.

QbD, Lean Six Sigma, and data analytics as the process SME to support validation activities and enhance process robustness and control.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and proactively manage technical and scientific risks to maintain a validated state of control.

Provide expert technical support for investigations, CAPA, and regulatory submissions.

What you'll bring

Qualified professional - BSc in Chemistry, BEng in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or other scientific related field.

Experienced - 3 + years' experience in process science, technology transfer, validation, quality engineering, or manufacturing function.

CRITICAL THINKER - Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills with knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, QbD, DoE, and DMAIC methodologies.

TECH SAVVY - Proficiency in statistical evaluation, data analytics and process control.

Thrive in this permanent full-time role (40 hours a week) based in Henderson, Auckland, paying $80 000 - $105 000 per annum, depending on experience.
