We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Dannevirke Transport \& Infrastructure civil construction team. As a Project Engineer, you will provide hands-on management for specific operations, offering technical support to supervisors and driving successful project outcomes. From planning and tendering to managing contracts and ensuring safety excellence, you’ll be at the heart of our project success.
Key responsibilities will include;
Assist in managing assigned contracts, ensuring transport and infrastructure projects meet client expectations for quality and timeframes.
Manage contractual issues, ensuring obligations are met and variations are resolved effectively.
Contribute to accurate estimates and tenders for contracts and variation
Build strong relationships with client representatives and stakeholders
Promote safe and sustainable working practices through induction, training and ongoing staff development

As an experienced Project Engineer, you’ll bring with you a proven track record in the civil construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, project management capabilities and strong interpersonal skills. You will also have:
Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field
Understanding of transport and infrastructure construction projects
Competence in project management tools and software used for planning, scheduling, and monitoring construction activities
Familiarity with local industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
A good health and safety related track record
