We’re looking for a motivated Python Developer Intern to join our backend team at Dragin Technologies LLC. This role is ideal for aspiring engineers who want real-world experience working with modern backend frameworks and data-driven systems.
About the Role
As a Python Developer Intern, you’ll contribute directly to the development and integration of our internal APIs and backend services. You’ll gain hands-on experience building systems that support our SaaS platforms — including working with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, and document processing tools.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend solutions using Python and FastAPI
Build and integrate REST APIs with internal and external services
Parse and process data from PDFs and structured files using libraries like PyPDF2 and pandas
Assist in maintaining database operations (CRUD, Postgres)
Collaborate with senior developers to improve system performance and reliability
Follow best practices for security, data integrity, and SOC 2 alignment
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Python programming
Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks
Understanding of databases and API communication (JSON, REST)
Bonus: experience with AWS, Pandas, OCR, or PDF parsing tools
Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative environment
