Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer . The successful candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in designing and developing application-side CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on secure, scalable, and automated delivery practices.

This role is application-focused, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML.

Implement secure DevSecOps practices across application delivery lifecycles.

Integrate security, quality, and artifact management tooling into pipelines.

Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.

Support containerised and cloud-native application deployments.

Troubleshoot and optimise CI/CD processes for performance and reliability.

Ensure compliance with Government security and operational standards.

Essential Criteria

Minimum 5+ years of overall IT experience.

At least 2+ years of hands-on experience authoring CI/CD pipelines using YAML.

Proven experience working with Azure DevOps for pipeline development.

Experience with DevSecOps toolchain components including:

JFrog (Artifactory / Xray)

SonarQube or related Sonar tooling

Strong understanding of secure software delivery practices.

Experience working within structured or regulated environments.

Australian Citizenship (required for Baseline clearance eligibility).

Desirable Skills \& Experience

Experience working with:

.NET applications (including containerised apps, SPA, Azure-hosted applications)

Java applications using Maven

Experience deploying containerised applications.

Familiarity with Government security frameworks and compliance standards.

Existing Baseline Security Clearance.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $90,138.52 – $185,335.77 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brisbane QLD
