Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Lead to drive the design, development, and execution of automated testing strategies across complex enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on automation expertise, leadership capability, and deep understanding of Agile delivery within Capital Markets environments.
You will lead automation efforts across UI, API, and database layers, mentor QA engineers, and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality, scalable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and define the test automation strategy across multiple projects and teams
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
Drive adoption of modern automation tools and best practices, with a strong focus on Playwright (must have)
Oversee automated testing for web, mobile, API, and database layers
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
Review automation code, ensure quality standards, and optimize test execution
Mentor and guide test automation engineers, conducting code reviews and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies and planning activities
Ensure accurate test tracking, reporting, and defect management using Jira with Zephyr or Xray
Perform and guide database testing, including data validation and integrity checks
Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities in testing processes
Communicate test progress, quality metrics, and risks clearly to stakeholders

Proficiency in programming and scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, and C#
Strong hands-on experience with automated testing tools:
Playwright (mandatory)
Selenium WebDriver
Cypress
Appium
Solid experience in API testing using tools such as:
REST Assured
Postman
Karate
Experience with test frameworks:
TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, Mocha, NUnit
Strong experience with database testing (SQL queries, data validation, backend verification)
DevOps \& Tooling
Experience with version control and CI/CD tools:
Git
Jenkins
Maven, Gradle
Docker
Process \& Methodologies
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Experience working in continuous integration and continuous testing environments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $87,346.57 – $161,164.02 per year
