About the Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade CI/CD capabilities that enable major programs to deliver real business value. You will play a key role in cloud engineering initiatives on AWS, working closely with development, architecture, and platform teams in an agile environment.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD tooling, infrastructure automation, and modern application workloads across Java, Node.js, and React.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines, providing best-practice guidance and enablement across delivery teams
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for IaaS and PaaS workloads on AWS
Enable workload hosting pipelines for Java, Node.js, and React applications
Implement DevOps practices for AWS Lambda and serverless architectures
Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for AWS IaaS and PaaS provisioning
Support AWS services enablement and cloud platform engineering initiatives
Implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using OpenTelemetry and cloud observability tools (e.g., Lightstep)
Design and integrate RESTful APIs and support API lifecycle using Swagger/OpenAPI
Collaborate on microservices architecture design and implementation
Participate in all phases of Agile software development, including design, build, testing, and deployment
Work collaboratively across global teams using documentation and frequent video conferencing
Support unit, integration, and non-functional testing strategies
Debug, optimize, and improve performance across systems and pipelines
Required Skills \& Experience
Proven experience delivering enterprise CI/CD capabilities and tools
Strong AWS Cloud Engineering and DevOps experience
Hands-on experience with:
GitLab CI/CD
Nexus Repository
HashiCorp Vault
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation
Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless DevOps practices
Strong understanding of microservices architecture
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI)
Experience with database technologies such as:
PostgreSQL
Oracle
SQL-based databases
AWS RDS
Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
Experience working with complex and semi-structured data (JSON, XML)
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills
Strong problem-solving, delegation, and time management abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT discipline
Nice to Have
Experience with Apache Kafka / Confluent Kafka
Experience with serverless applications using Node.js
Experience working with React applications
Advanced experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
