Senior Data Engineer
to join their high-impact data team. This role supports a cutting-edge risk intelligence product used by banks worldwide to analyse crypto transactions, AML exposure, and financial risk. The
Senior Data Engineer
will work with modern data technologies and contribute directly to large-scale data platform development.
This is an opportunity to build scalable data pipelines and work across Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark, NiFi, and cloud-native data tooling within a collaborative, highly technical environment.
Your Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark, NiFi, and cloud-based data platforms.
Implement robust ETL/ELT processes, data models, and performance-focused architectures.
Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Conduct data quality checks, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to support production systems.
Contribute to technical design discussions, continuous improvement initiatives, and team knowledge sharing.
About You
8+ years' experience as a
Data Engineer
, with strong expertise in
Snowflake, Python, and SQL
.
Proven background building scalable distributed data solutions (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Databricks, etc.).
Strong understanding of data pipelines, orchestration, governance, and working with large/complex datasets.
Effective communicator experienced working in cross-functional Agile teams.
Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and delivering reliable, production-ready data solutions.
