We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Migration Lead who will be responsible for the development of highly complex bespoke data extracts and system interfaces. The main focus of the role will be to support the EmPoweR programme, which will bring a full Electronic Patient Record (EPR) to our acute services.
Leading a small team, the post holder will need to use expert judgement in the analysis and interpretation of highly complex data and be responsible for the architectural design, implementation, monitoring and fault resolution for the data migration extracts and clinical system interfaces.
The post is being offered as an 18 month secondment/fixed-term and will be based at Conquest Hospital with opportunities for home/flexible working.
Our ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience of implementing and supporting enterprise level Data Warehouses (preferably SQL Server), together with experience of using Visual Studio in a commercial environment (ideally a healthcare setting) and experience of interfacing highly complex datasets between bespoke systems both in real time and as batch processing.
They will have in-depth knowledge of SSIS, XML, HL7, ODBC and C#, be able to provide expert advice on highly complex digital issues and communicate clearly and concisely to both clinical and non-clinical staff. Previous experience of managing a team would also be an advantage.
