Product Manager - In-Class Experience

EF Language Abroad is seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager to own the end-to-end student journey within the classroom setting. This pivotal role focuses on developing an exciting, effective, and delightful in-class experience for students and empowering our teachers with excellent, innovative materials to make language learning truly engaging.

This role is ideal for a product leader who is deeply empathetic to both student and teacher needs, possesses a strong background or interest in education technology or curriculum development, and thrives in an entrepreneurial, global environment.

Responsibilities Product Strategy \& Vision

Define and articulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the in-class student and teacher experience across all EF Language Abroad schools.

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer (student and teacher) interviews to identify pain points, opportunities, and unmet needs within the classroom.

Prioritize initiatives based on impact, effort, and alignment with business goals (e.g., student satisfaction, academic progress, retention).

Development \& Execution

Own the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration for all in-class tools, materials, and processes.

Work closely with Academic Experts and Curriculum Designers to translate pedagogical goals into engaging and practical classroom products and materials.

Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams (where applicable for digital tools) to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to in-class experience (e.g., student engagement metrics, course completion rates, teacher material usage, student feedback scores).

Teacher Enablement

Ensure teachers have the best possible materials and support to deliver the intended learning experience effectively and efficiently.

Develop training materials and guides for new product launches or material updates.

Gather direct feedback from teachers to rapidly iterate and improve resources and classroom tools.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact and internal champion for the in-class experience, communicating updates, progress, and results to senior leadership and school management globally.

Partner closely with School Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure the in-class experience aligns with the overall student journey and value proposition.

Requirements 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in EdTech, E-learning, or Entertainment/Video.

Proven track record of defining and launching successful tech and/or educational products or materials that demonstrably improve user outcomes.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics, analyze data, and draw actionable insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, international setting.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business, Technology).

Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a global organization or a company that manages physical, location-based experiences (e.g., schools, retail).

Experience shaping 0 to 1 projects from beginning to launch (and iteration).

Deep understanding of pedagogical principles and the challenges/opportunities in a language learning classroom.

Experience with A/B testing, user research methodologies, and rapid prototyping in an educational context.

Proficiency in a second language/experience learning a second language is nice to have.
