Front-End Android Developer
to join our customer’s team. This role focuses on creating
high-quality, visually appealing Android interfaces
using Kotlin while actively engaging with
AI-assisted coding tools
like Cursor to test and improve developer workflows.
Role Overview
As a Front-End Developer (Android), you will design, implement, and optimize mobile UI components, integrate new features, and collaborate with research teams to refine AI-assisted development tools. Your work will directly influence both the user experience and the evolution of AI-powered coding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and refine application components using
Kotlin
for Android.
Implement new features and ensure seamless integration across mobile and web platforms.
Test alpha AI models in
Cursor
, providing structured feedback on real-world coding scenarios.
Document and submit incident reports, bug traces, and screenshots of AI model issues.
Collaborate via Slack with research and engineering teams to improve AI-assisted workflows.
Participate in post-testing surveys to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of professional frontend/UI development experience with strong expertise in
Kotlin
.
Proven ability to deliver pixel-perfect, visually polished, and intuitive Android user interfaces.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and thoroughness in feedback.
Demonstrated experience with layout fixes, style refactoring, and implementing the latest UI/UX trends.
Enthusiasm for hands-on coding, rapid prototyping, and AI-driven development workflows.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Contributions to open-source projects, GitHub repositories with stars, or a strong personal development portfolio.
Experience providing actionable product or workflow feedback to engineering or research teams.
Previous involvement with experimental or research-driven software development projects.
