We are seeking a talented full-stack engineer to partner directly with their investment teams and build the next generation of research and trading tools.
The Role
This is not a typical enterprise software position. We are looking for a creative and product-driven engineer to act as a dedicated technology partner for one of our discretionary investment teams. This is a role for a true product builder who can work closely with trading teams to understand their unique challenges and build sophisticated, end-to-end web applications from the ground up.
You will have the autonomy and ownership to manage the entire development lifecycle, from rapidly prototyping new ideas to deploying robust, scalable solutions. Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on the investment process, helping to shape strategy and generate alpha.
Responsibilities
Partner directly with portfolio managers and analysts to rapidly ideate, design, and build end-to-end web applications.
Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and UI/UX design through to back-end implementation, deployment, and iteration.
Develop intuitive and highly effective user interfaces that can visualize complex financial data and streamline investment workflows.
Architect and implement robust, scalable back-end services and APIs in Python or Java.
Collaborate with other world-class engineers to leverage the firm’s cutting-edge platforms and infrastructure.

Who we're looking for
A bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier university with a strong academic record.
4+ years of professional experience building full-stack applications in a top technology or financial firm.
Deep, hands-on expertise in modern front-end development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and a major framework (e.g. React, Angular).
Expert-level proficiency in at least one back-end language, such as Python or Java.
Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to build user-centric products.
