Application and Web Developer- Customs and Border Protection

Ellumen is seeking an experienced Application and Web Developer to become part of our diverse Agile team, providing education and training support to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) using automated systems to keep travelers and officers safe.
This position will support the agency's mission of providing critical safety and security of travelers entering and exiting the United States.
Required Experience/Skills:
US Citizenship required (Active CBP clearance preferred)
Ability to pass background investigation and obtain Public Trust Clearance
Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar program.
Excellent Communication skills with the ability to collaborate and share insights with team members and stakeholders
Problem-solving, testing, and the ability to adapt to new technologies while maintaining security updates and performance optimization
Advanced experience with static and dynamic websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (front-end development)
Work independently and a member of a cross functional team
4+ years of experience with frontend framework such as Angular and .NET Core
Experience and skill in open-source software and Agile software development methodology is essential
Experience in Linux environment
Knowledge of AWS cloud management.
Strong experience with code versioning and production release using Gitlab/Github.
Preferred Experience
Experience in containerization and cloud hosting with Amazon Cloud Services
Experience with Webpack, NPM, and IdentityServer
508 testing experience
Active Security Clearance
Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning (ML) and robotic process automation (RPA) that can potentially improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NDMS operations.
Experience with Moodle and CBP software
Responsibilities
Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.
Assist Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements and design specifications to code and integrate and test software components.
Actively participate in Scrum meetings
Update the System Design Document (SSD) after each software release
Maintain full compliance with the HHS CIO Enterprise Performance Life Cycle including cybersecurity,
privacy, Section 508 accessibility, enterprise architecture.
Onsite Work is required Monday through Friday 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM with core hours from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM
