My client, a payments solutions company, is seeking an experienced Head of Product to lead the end-to-end product function across its payments ecosystem. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping product strategy, driving execution excellence, and delivering customer-centric payment solutions that support business growth and regional expansion.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Business, Partnerships, Compliance, and Marketing to ensure the product portfolio is aligned with commercial objectives, regulatory requirements, and evolving customer needs. You will also lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, building a high-performance and innovation-driven product organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Vision \& Strategy
Define, own, and communicate a clear long-term product vision and strategy, aligned with the company’s overall business objectives
Conduct ongoing market research, competitive analysis, and customer insight gathering to identify growth opportunities and innovation areas
Develop a strong understanding of the Singapore fintech and payments landscape, including MAS regulatory requirements, market trends, and consumer behaviour
Product Roadmap \& Execution
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle across the full payments ecosystem, from discovery through delivery and optimisation
Develop and maintain a prioritised product roadmap, balancing innovation, platform stability, scalability, and regulatory compliance
Lead product development in an Agile environment, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products on time
Make informed trade-off decisions across scope, timelines, and resources to maximise business impact
Leadership \& Team Management
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers
Foster a culture of collaboration, customer-centricity, innovation, and data-driven decision-making
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and development plans to support team performance and career progression
Business \& Commercial Acumen
Develop business cases for new products and enhancements, including P\&L forecasts, ROI analysis, and go-to-market strategies
Partner closely with Business, Enterprise, and Partnership teams to identify strategic partnerships and drive product adoption
Work with Marketing to define product positioning, messaging, and launch strategies to maximise market impact
Requirements \& Experience
Proven experience in a senior product leadership role within payments, fintech, or regulated financial services
Strong track record of defining and scaling customer-centric digital products
Deep understanding of payments platforms, fintech ecosystems, and regulatory considerations (MAS experience preferred)
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
Strong commercial mindset with experience in business case development and go-to-market execution
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
