Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer II (mid–senior level) to support our cloud transformation journey. In this role, you’ll contribute to migrating our on-premises IIS-hosted applications to AWS Cloud and help ensure reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across our systems.
What You Will Do
Contribute to migrating on-premises IIS-hosted applications in high-availability production and non-production environments to AWS Cloud.
Implement and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
Support adoption and implementation of infrastructure-as-code.
Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response systems.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support seamless deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
Own and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability across critical services.
Support disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Provide 2nd line incident support to ensure prompt and efficient issue resolution.
Participate in an on-call rotation.
Who You Are
5+ years of proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
2+ years of proven experience with AWS services.
Experience migrating applications (preferably IIS/.NET-based) from on-premises to AWS Cloud.
Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and automation.
Experience with Windows Server, IIS, and .NET application hosting.
Experience with monitoring \& observability tools (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Elastic, etc.).
Exposure to container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/EKS.
Awareness of cloud costs and optimization.
Experience working in a high-availability, 24/7 production environment.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Self-driven personality with a strong eagerness to learn and deliver.
Preffered Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or DevOps Engineer – Associate.
Experience with containerizing legacy applications (Kubernetes/EKS).
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.
