Your Role – meaningful \& rewarding
Design and develop innovative data-driven and AI-based solutions, turning initial concepts and pilot projects into scalable, production-ready solutions with real impact. This includes the entire lifecycle, from ideation, prototyping, and experimentation to deployment, optimization, and monitoring in production environments
Work at the core of our technology by shaping architecture, building pipelines, process data integration and delivery
Establish and improve software development best practices, including version control, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), monitoring, automation and testing
Collaborate in cross-functional teams, working closely with business stakeholders and technical experts to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions
Engage stakeholders as a trusted consultant, facilitating workshops, uncovering business needs, and translating them into actionable AI use cases and solution designs, while leveraging strong communication skills to adapt to different audiences and organizational levels
Shape and strengthen our team culture by mentoring junior colleagues, contributing to internal initiatives and technical working groups, support knowledge sharing, and fostering collaboration across teams
Your Profile – authentic \& open-minded
Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field
Several years of experience as a Data Engineer, including hands-on experience in building end-to-end data solutions
Practical experience with SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) and SAP Datasphere is a strong plus to attract and engage stakeholders in SAP-driven environments
Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure-as-a-Code as well as building secure cloud architectures such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Terraform, Python, Spark
Excellent communication and consulting skills, able to translate complex data topics into clear business value
Fluent in German and English
