We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Developer to support EPAM’s Cloud Compute Managed Services engagement. This role focuses on KTLO (Keep the Lights On) operations, ensuring 24x7 monitoring, incident response and platform stability across cloud and infrastructure environments.
You will play a key role in improving observability, automating operations, strengthening security compliance and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable compute services.
This position requires on-call support and overlap with US, UK and AU business hours.
Responsibilities
Perform 24x7 monitoring of compute platforms using tools such as ELK and PagerDuty
Manage incidents and problems across servers, OS, middleware and cloud platforms, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA) and resolution
Execute repaving, change management and disaster recovery activities
Automate operational processes using Terraform, Python, PowerShell and Ansible
Ensure security compliance, vulnerability management and system hardening
Handle service requests, configuration changes and audit data extraction
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Improve observability and reliability through monitoring enhancements and automation
Collaborate with global teams to drive continuous service improvements and operational excellence
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (Jenkins)
Requirements
Hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud operations
Strong experience with AWS as the primary cloud platform
Solid Linux administration skills
Proficiency in Terraform, Python and PowerShell scripting
Experience with observability tools such as ELK and Grafana and incident management practices
Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
Knowledge of security hardening, vulnerability management and compliance standards
Familiarity with disaster recovery and operational resilience processes
Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
Ability to participate in on-call rotations and work across global time zones
