We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure. In this dynamic mixed role focusing on operations with elements of development, you will work on modernizing our systems, supporting migrations, and ensuring the delivery of state-of-the-art technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Take on a mixed operations (70%) and development (30%) role, adjusting as project needs evolve
Migrate internal Docker images and their dependencies from GCR to Artifact Registry
Perform upgrades for Docker images and application dependencies
Identify and resolve vulnerabilities in Python applications
Audit and update cloud services and privileges configurations with Terraform and Terragrunt
Support GCP-to-AWS cloud migration and disaster recovery initiatives
Collaborate with teams to improve the reliability, scalability, and overall efficiency of infrastructure
Requirements
3+ years of professional, production-level operations experience
Proficiency in EKS and AWS
Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
Skills in Python development
Familiarity with authentication processes and ability to support or implement adjustments, such as Azure B2C CIAM migrations
Experience working with Azure Active Directory B2C
Strong communication skills with a collaborative, self-driven mindset
English proficiency at a B2 level to ensure effective communication and documentation
Nice to have
Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Understanding of CloudFormation, SOC2, Jenkins, Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Elasticsearch
Knowledge of backing up and restoring PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch clusters
Capability to troubleshoot and analyze service-to-service interactions in AWS environments
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
