We are looking for a seasoned Chief Azure DevOps Engineer to lead the architectural design and execution of Azure Landing Zones in a transformative cloud migration initiative.

Responsibilities
Architect Azure Landing Zones aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework
Establish hub-and-spoke network design and governance using Azure Policy
Produce Terraform templates to standardize deployment processes
Configure critical Azure networking elements including VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateways
Oversee deployment and administration of services such as Redis, RabbitMQ, and HashiCorp Vault
Manage container orchestration platforms including AKS and Nomad
Set up monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
Automate end-to-end infrastructure setup and application delivery workflows
Adopt GitOps methodologies to maintain system configurations and states
Execute infrastructure validation and security assessments using appropriate tools
Apply and maintain security protocols via Azure Security Center
Administer secrets and certificates through Azure Key Vault
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive infrastructure strategies
Document operational guides, workflows, and architecture diagrams for team enablement
Requirements
At least 7 years in cloud and DevOps engineering
2+ years of relevant leadership experience
Expert knowledge of Azure-focused projects and large-scale cloud migrations
Deep expertise in Azure Landing Zone frameworks and Terraform-based IaC
Comprehensive understanding of Azure networking including VNets, NSGs, firewalls, and hybrid links
Proven background with CI/CD systems and automation via GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
Advanced skills in Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration solutions
Strong grasp of monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus
Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Exceptional leadership capability in guiding technical strategies and mentoring engineers
Experience driving initiatives around governance models and compliance requirements
Outstanding problem-solving capabilities in enterprise environments
Clear and effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level
Nice to have
Azure professional certifications like AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500
Experience using HashiCorp Nomad for orchestrating workloads
Knowledge of SOC 2 or similar regulatory compliance
Background with RabbitMQ and Redis for message queuing and caching
Terraform Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator accreditation
