Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes
Build and optimize data integration solutions with Databricks and PySpark
Collaborate with analysts and engineers to create self-serve analytical tools
Perform ad hoc data analysis to support business insights and market opportunities
Document code and maintain repositories in GitHub to ensure project continuity
Translate business goals into technical solutions and analytical models
Prioritize tasks effectively to deliver high-quality results at speed
Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability
Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources
Support data visualization efforts with Tableau and Salesforce tools
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows in Apache Airflow
Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards
Requirements
Strong experience with Databricks and SQL including query optimization (2+ years)
Proficient in PySpark or Spark/Scala for big data processing
Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Knowledge of ETL/ELT solutions and data integration techniques
Ability to write clear, maintainable code with proper documentation
Strong analytical skills with problem-solving experience
Experience working with web-scale databases such as Snowflake or BigQuery
Excellent verbal communication skills in English (B2 or higher)
Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
Ability to translate broad goals into practical technical solutions
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams
Nice to have
Experience in gaming industry data analytics
Knowledge of Salesforce data integration
Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
Experience building prediction models or hypothesis testing
Certifications related to data engineering or cloud platforms
