We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our client’s engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team to design, build, test, and deploy scalable and high-quality features for a SaaS multi-tenant platform. Responsibilities
Develop and implement back-end features using Ruby on Rails
Build and enhance front-end components with ReactJS
Participate in pair programming to ensure high-quality code and shared knowledge
Perform code reviews and apply test-driven development approaches
Write and maintain automated tests for unit, integration, and end-to-end scenarios
Integrate platform functionalities with external services like Association Management Systems (AMS)
Improve and refine multi-tenant architecture across databases, middleware, and service layers
Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers to translate requirements into deliverables
Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups
Advocate for best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability
Optimize PostgreSQL queries and manage complex data tasks
Assist with the migration from Angular to React, ensuring a smooth transition
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails
Experience working with SaaS multi-tenant architectures
Familiarity with Agile XP practices, including pair programming and continuous integration
Hands-on experience with AWS services and deploying applications in cloud-native environments
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams across time zones
Proficiency in English at B2+ level or higher, both written and spoken
Nice to have
Experience with Angular 9+ to assist with migration efforts
Understanding of event-driven architectures and service integrations
Strong proficiency in SQL for analytics and handling data-intensive features
Background in industries such as EdTech, community platforms, or B2B SaaS products
Knowledge of DevOps practices and AWS infrastructure tools like CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, and Terraform
Expertise in PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
Front-end development skills with ReactJS and TypeScript
Experience with test-driven development tools such as RSpec, Capybara, and Jest
