We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to drive the design and implementation of Azure Landing Zones for a major cloud migration project. You will lead the creation of secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles, working closely with platform and application teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. Responsibilities
Design Azure Landing Zones in accordance with the Cloud Adoption Framework
Implement hub-and-spoke network topology and governance using Azure Policy
Develop Infrastructure as Code templates with Terraform for consistent deployment
Configure Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateways
Deploy and manage platform services such as Redis, RabbitMQ, and HashiCorp Vault
Set up and maintain container orchestration environments with AKS and Nomad
Establish monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
Automate infrastructure deployments and application workflows
Apply GitOps practices for maintaining configuration and system state
Conduct infrastructure testing and security scanning with relevant tools
Implement and enforce security best practices with Azure Security Center
Manage secrets and certificates through Azure Key Vault
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies
Document workflows, runbooks, and architecture diagrams for operational readiness
Requirements
5+ years experience in cloud and DevOps engineering roles
Experience in Azure-focused projects and cloud migrations
Expertise in Azure Landing Zone architecture and Terraform-based IaC
Strong knowledge of Azure networking including VNets, NSGs, Firewalls, and hybrid connectivity
Proven experience with CI/CD tools and automation using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration tools
In-depth understanding of monitoring systems such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus
Proficient scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Strong leadership abilities for guiding technical decisions and mentoring engineers
Experience leading projects involving governance frameworks and compliance standards
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills within enterprise environments
Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
English language proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate)
Nice to have
Azure certifications including AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500
Familiarity with HashiCorp Nomad for workload orchestration
Experience with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks
Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Redis for messaging and caching
Terraform Associate or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification
