We are looking for a Lead Data Integration Engineer to design and manage robust financial reporting pipelines. This position blends expertise in data engineering and analytics to deliver key insights that enhance decision-making and streamline financial operations. You will collaborate with finance, insights, and revenue teams, leveraging advanced technologies to support a global ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Work with data engineers, analysts, and integration specialists to create and implement comprehensive financial reporting pipelines
Collaborate with finance teams to develop analytics systems that track revenue, tax, and payment data for globally recognized game titles and partner products
Partner with e-commerce engineers and application developers to create scalable solutions for analyzing transaction data across Epic Online Services
Focus on integrating financial data into Epic's global revenue reporting platform, including sources such as Microsoft, PlayStation, Nintendo, and PC storefronts
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize tax, transactional, and e-commerce data
Work with central data engineering teams to capture, store, and automate financial event data using tools like Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of experience in data engineering and analytics
Minimum of one year of leadership experience managing development teams
Proficiency in creating and managing data pipelines with tools like Apache Airflow and Databricks
Strong understanding of API protocols, including REST and GraphQL
Advanced expertise in programming and analytical languages, such as SQL, Python, Pyspark, or C#
Experience working with major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proficiency in version control and CI/CD workflows using tools like GitHub
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse technologies and oversee dashboards, event pipelines, and warehousing solutions
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, at a B2+ level
Nice to have
Familiarity with AWS Lambda for serverless computing
Knowledge of predictive analytics techniques, including regression analysis, classification, or machine learning
Experience debugging and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Expertise in optimizing large-scale data using tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop, EMR, or Kafka
