We are looking for a Lead Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Center of Excellence team.
In this role, you will lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines, ensuring robust and efficient cloud services for internal clients. Join us to drive innovation using Azure native tools and lead cloud operations excellence.
Responsibilities
Create automation scripts using PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, YAML, Terraform, and C#
Deploy and manage cloud resources through Infrastructure-as-Code techniques
Oversee continuous integration and deployment processes with Azure DevOps
Utilize Azure Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center for operational monitoring
Maintain detailed product and operational documentation on the CCoE wiki
Collaborate with the DevOps team on new development and operational projects
Support clients during cloud onboarding and provide technical assistance
Ensure cloud security compliance for onboarded clients
Manage network platform operations including setup and administration
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure platform and cloud engineering
Proven expertise in Azure DevOps, Azure Networking, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Resource Manager
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development and upkeep
Hands-on experience configuring IaaS and PaaS services including Virtual Machines, WebApps, Database services, Kubernetes, Data Lake, and Databricks
Deep understanding of networking protocols such as IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, and DNS
Demonstrated engineering and coding skills within agile environments
Excellent communication and presentation abilities with constructive feedback skills
Customer-oriented approach with strong documentation and specification capabilities
Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
Nice to have
Experience in .NET API development and integration
Knowledge of Azure Databases and Azure Security best practices
Familiarity with Bicep, Terraform, YAML, and PowerShell scripting
Background working with Kubernetes and Linux environments
Experience mentoring team members and contributing within the Scaled Agile Framework
