Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our client’s engineering team. In this role, you will work within a cross-functional Agile team to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, high-quality features for a SaaS multi-tenant platform. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust web application features using Ruby on Rails for back-end development

Build and enhance front-end components using ReactJS

Collaborate in pair programming sessions to ensure code quality and share knowledge

Conduct code reviews and follow test-driven development practices to maintain consistency

Write automated tests covering unit, integration, and end-to-end scenarios

Integrate platform components with external services, including Association Management Systems (AMS)

Enhance and optimize multi-tenant architecture across database, middleware, and service layers

Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups

Promote best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability within the development process

Optimize PostgreSQL queries and handle advanced data manipulation tasks

Support the migration from Angular to React, ensuring a seamless transition

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails

Proven experience working with SaaS multi-tenant architectures

Hands-on experience in Agile XP environments, including pair programming and continuous integration

Familiarity with AWS services and experience deploying applications in a cloud-native stack

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within remote teams across different time zones

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

Experience with Angular 9+ to support migration efforts

Knowledge of event-driven architectures and service integrations

Strong SQL skills for analytics and managing data-heavy features

Experience working in industries like EdTech, community platforms, or B2B SaaS products

Familiarity with DevOps practices and AWS infrastructure management tools such as CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, and Terraform

Deep understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization

Front-end development expertise with ReactJS and TypeScript

Proficiency in test-driven development tools like RSpec, Capybara, and Jest
