Title: Senior Big Data Engineer(Tableau Experience Mandatory)

Location: Mississauga, ON
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau for business insights.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Work with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.) to process and manage large datasets.
Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts to automate workflows, data pipelines, and system tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in data pipelines and reporting systems.
Strong proficiency in Tableau (dashboard creation, calculated fields, parameters, performance optimization).
Advanced knowledge of SQL (joins, subqueries, stored procedures, query optimization).
Hands-on experience with Big Data frameworks (Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Hive, HDFS).
Solid understanding of Unix/Linux scripting for automation and data processing.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
