Overview of Role
Ergo are seeking an experienced Systems Integration Software Developer to deliver high-quality technical solutions within a complex enterprise environment for our public sector client. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating Azure-based applications and services, working closely with technical leads, vendors, and internal business teams to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
What will you do?
In this role, you will:
Provide technical input on system enhancements, integration's, and governance to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and best practices.
Design, implement, and support secure, scalable solutions using Microsoft Azure services and modern development technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party providers to deliver quality software that meets business and technical requirements.
Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical solutions.
Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, and "buy versus build" evaluations.
Ensure systems and interfaces can be hosted, supported, and maintained effectively within a cloud environment.
What do you need?
The ideal candidate will have:
BSc in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
3+ years' experience in software development with 2+ years' hands-on experience using Microsoft Azure Services.
Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core, and Node.js; experience with React.js advantageous.
Proficiency with Azure tools and services including App Services, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault, Azure AD, Azure SQL, and Application Insights.
Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps for source control, build, and release automation.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage technical deliverables across multiple workstreams.
