b. Implement automated self-healing mechanisms and fault-tolerant configurations for system stability and minimal recovery times.

c. Continuously refine infrastructure performance by monitoring metrics such as error rates, latency, and uptime.

4. Security-First Infrastructure Design

a. Deploy infrastructure in alignment with Ericsson’s global compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001 and GDPR standards.

b. Integrate encryption, IAM (Identity and Access Management), and vulnerability detection across all infrastructure components.

c. Establish disaster recovery (DR) solutions and failover strategies to ensure operational resilience.

5. Collaborate Across Functional Teams

a. Work closely with platform engineers, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to align infrastructure priorities with business needs.

b. Engage with platform democracy groups to ensure governance practices address the infrastructure requirements of diverse stakeholders.

c. Mentor teams on best practices for infrastructure management, automation, and performance optimization.

6. Drive Strategic Infrastructure Initiatives

a. Lead efforts to enhance scalability and reliability of existing infrastructure, addressing evolving developer needs.

b. Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization while maintaining robust performance standards.

c. Ensure adaptability of Ericsson’s infrastructure to future demands through innovative technologies and operational strategies.
