Job Description

Can you imagine building software that predicts and prevents failures in Pharmaceutical sector?

At ERNI, we invite you to join an R\&D initiative where software, data, and AI converge to support continuous pharmaceutical manufacturing. You’ll work on systems that ingest real-time data streams, feed deep learning models, and deliver predictive insights to operators, reducing waste, improving quality, and accelerating production.

You’ll tackle challenges across architecture, data pipelines, model serving, dashboards, and web interfaces, all under strict reliability and regulatory constraints. You’ll contribute to building something that truly matters, where precision, scalability, and robustness are core.

How do we make this happen?

With people. You’ll have a support structure: a godparent for the initial practical help, and a mentor guiding your growth and career path. You’ll work with cross-disciplinary teams, from data scientists to engineers to operators.

How will we help you grow?

Certifications: We cover their cost, and you may earn up to €1,400 in rewards

Access to internal knowledge-sharing communities and expert sessions

Training beyond coding: communication, leadership, domain knowledge in pharma and AI

What will you bring?

Strong experience in Python and data engineering

Experience working with Collibra data platform (data assets, catalogs, workflows, user profiles).

Proven SQL skills and ability to model, query, and optimize databases

Experience with version control (Git)

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools

Experience or interest in working with data streaming frameworks (Kafka, etc.)

Understanding of how to integrate ML/Deep Learning models into production systems

Ability to translate business or scientific requirements into software solutions

Good English (written \& oral) for collaborating with international teams

What will you do?

Develop pipelines to stream data through models and return predictions in real time

Build APIs, dashboards, and UIs for operators and scientists

Ensure model serving is reliable, performant, and maintainable

Participate in feature planning, code reviews, and testing

Collaborate with domain experts to align predictions with process insights

Troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, and propose improvements

Our working model: Hybrid with real flexibility

You’ll work partly remote and come to the office 2 days/week, depending on project and team needs. We're flexible, but we appreciate the energy and ideas that come from in-person collaboration.

And
 what if the project ends?

We work across a wide variety of projects, technologies, and industries so you can keep growing in different environments. If one project finishes or you feel ready for a new challenge, we’ll find the next one that matches your professional growth.

Our way of working: Flexibility without losing connection

We ask that you're available during key meetings. Need to go to the doctor or pick up your kid from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality within your 40h week.
