Eurotech is a company providing innovative products and solutions with brilliant customer service to the signmakers and printers.
We are rebuilding our current WooCommerce website, www.eurotech.com.au, onto Shopify Plus and are looking for a hands-on Shopify Plus expert to lead and deliver the build.
This is not a standard ecommerce admin role. We need someone with real Shopify Plus experience who can replicate and migrate our current WooCommerce website on Shopify Plus while ensuring the website is fast and responsive. You will be responsible for the end to end project including data migration.
The core mission of this role is clear:
Replicate the current Eurotech website on Shopify Plus and achieve Core Web Vitals assessment pass across desktop and mobile, whether logged in or logged out.
About the role
You will be working on a feature-rich B2B ecommerce website and will play a key hands-on role to deliver:
full functionality parity with our current WooCommerce site
near-identical front-end look and feel unless agreed otherwise
a fast, responsive desktop and mobile experience
strong performance across key templates and user states
a clean, maintainable Shopify Plus build that does not become bloated over time
Key areas include:
Shopify Plus theme build and customisation
home, collection, product, search, cart, checkout and account templates
customer account workflows
pricing and trade account behaviour
promotions and checkout-related functionality
migration from WooCommerce to Shopify Plus
SEO continuity and redirects
performance testing, release discipline and ongoing responsiveness
Important note: the ERP integration will be handled by an external agency. You do not need to build the ERP integration, but you do need to work effectively alongside that integration partner so the overall Shopify Plus solution works properly. You will be responsible for the end result of the completed website so will need to direct the external build agency where applicable.
You will be reporting to the Sales and Marketing Team Leader.

Milestones
Completed project within 5 months or less. With incremental monthly goals along the way. Website to be maintained in Core Web Vital Assessment State after going live.
Essential experience
strong hands-on experience with Shopify Plus
proven experience in custom Shopify theme development
strong ability in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and responsive front-end development
experience delivering high-performance ecommerce websites
solid understanding of Core Web Vitals Assessment Pass, Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights and practical performance optimisation
experience with working on complex ecommerce functionality, not just basic stores
experience with WooCommerce to Shopify migration projects or similar platform rebuilds
ability to audit an existing website properly and identify dependencies, risks and edge cases
ability to make sensible calls on what should be native, custom-built or avoided
Highly regarded
experience with B2B / trade ecommerce
experience with customer-specific pricing and account logic in Shopify
experience working alongside ERP or middleware integration partners
experience where site speed and responsiveness were a major success measure
experience with SEO continuity during ecommerce migration
